Native to Collin County, John Hopewell grew up in Lucas, Texas with his brothers and sister. Being raised by parents with a strong work ethic, John learned at a young age to not fear hard honest work. In fact, the diligence he learned as a young child helped him to eventually start his own company Simply Clean.

Having a love for the service industry, John has always worked for companies in which customer happiness is most important, including cleaning carpets. He got his first taste of the carpet cleaning world while attending Brigham Young University-Hawaii. Not only did this help him make his way through school but it also determined his decision to start his own carpet cleaning company. After graduating with a Bachelor’s in 2005, John applied all his energy into what has become a leader in the carpet cleaning industry, Simply Clean.

He and his wife Diane of four years have enjoyed the challenging yet rewarding journey so far, of marriage and owning a business! They currently reside in Anna with their two year old son and are expecting their second son this summer.
